As the leaves begin to change colors and the air chills, there is no denying that fall is a magical season. Nature paints a beautiful picture across the county. Harlyn’s Gourds

Come out and support the little local entrepreneur, Harlyn! This young girl and her family sell pumpkins and gourds. She helps disc the field, do the planting, transplant, waters, weeds, picks, sorts, and sometimes she even handles the money. Each and every gourd is touched by her at some point during the process. All of the money earned goes towards Harlyn’s future. Though they sell more gourds than pumpkins, we just had to give Harlyn a big shoutout. Stay updated on their Facebook and keep on eye out for their stand on College Ave in Aledo, Illinois. There is a cash box outside with the stand.

They are nearly out of pumpkins, but still have plenty of gourds.
