1. Garden Weather: A Part of the Big Picture
o Presented by Steve Hilberg, Illinois CoCoRaHS Coordinator.
o Learn about the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail, and Snow network (CoCoRaHS), which allows citizens to measure precipitation in their own backyards.
o Discover how you can participate in this exciting program.
2. The Connection Between Trees and Climate Resilience
o Presented by Emily Swihart, Horticulture Educator, University of Illinois Extension.
o Explore the impact of changing climate on our urban forest.
o Gain insights into the benefits of trees and strategies for making informed planting choices.

• Location: Aledo Fire Station (211 SE 3rd St., Aledo, IL)
• Pre-registration is preferred, and walk-ins are allowed if space permits.
