Come out to the Eliza Community Center on October 28th for a “Souper Saturday”!
This event is sponsored by the New Boston Chapter of CreatiVets.
There will be a $7 for bowl of soup, toppings(cheese, crackers, etc), your choice of provided bread, and a dessert. Sounds like a great deal and a yummy meal!
Anyone can submit their best soups/chili for.
You do not need to be present to serve, but are welcome. Any soup or chili donation is accepted.
You can look forward to raffle tickets, $1 for 1 ricket and $5 for 6 tickets. These will go towards votes for People’s Choice (a surprise prize) and raffle baskets. All of the proceeds go to benefiting Veterans in Mercer County through CreatiVets. They are are healing and improving veteran’s lives through arts and musical programs.
All leftover soups/chili will be packaged up and frozen for meals for veterans!
They are also accepting: raffle baskets, gift certificates, bowls, plates, napkins, silverware, cups, quart size freezer bags, and baked goods.
