The American Legion Annual Fish Fry will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Friday Nov. 11, at the Eliza Community Center.

This year we will offer both the drive thru system that we used during the pandemic AND the option of community seating for your meal in the Center gym, just like the good old days. Please mark your calendar to attend this fund raiser that includes a great meal and social happening.

The meal consists of catfish (mostly flathead) filets, coleslaw done to Ferris Shrock's wonderful recipe and beans that have come to be called Gary's beans that are very unique, and home cooked deserts. If you haven't been to one of the twenty some fry's the Vets have done over the years, and like to eat your fill, come on over to Eliza on November 11. You won't regret it.
